Toys 'R' Us elects new board member

WAYNE, N.J. Toys "R" Us announced in an SEC filing today that Michael Ward has been elected to the company's board of directors.

Ward is a managing director of Bain Capital Partners, LLC, which he joined in 2002. For five years prior to joining Bain Capital, he held a variety of senior positions at Digitas Inc., including president and coo.
