11/29/2007

New York, British fast-fashion retailer Topshop will open its first U.S. store in September, a three-level flagship in Manhattan’s SoHo.

The company, owned by Sir Philip Green, plans to open additional locations in Manhattan, as well as on the West Coast and in major cities across the country, according to a report in Women’s Wear Daily. The stores will be a minimum of 20,000 sq. ft.

The U.S. stores are part of Topshop’s upcoming global expansion. The company is scouting sites in Paris and Milan, and is in talks to enter India.
