TiVO names international vp
ALVISO, Calif. TiVo has announced today that Joshua Danovitz has been promoted to vp, gm of international. Danovitz joined TiVo in 2004 as general manager of TiVo International, developing TiVo's overseas strategy and creating cross-border partnerships.
"Joshua has played a critical role in the development and execution of our international strategy, initially forging our partnerships in Mexico and Australia," said Tom Rogers, ceo of TiVo. "This strategy creates a clear path to develop opportunities with international service providers and broadcasters to extend TiVo's reach into key markets around the world."
Prior to joining TiVo, Danovitz was vp at Global Alliance Partners, an international consulting firm that assists companies entering new markets between the U.S. and Asia, where he served as a consultant for TiVo, and was a core member of the TiVo licensing project for nearly three years. Prior to this, Danovitz held executive roles in both start-up and large enterprise companies, including a role as vp at LINC Computer Japan.
