Target is sixth

Chain Store Age is out with its annual top 100 ranking and Target’s annual sales of $65.2 billion put it in the sixth spot this year. Walmart topped the list again with annual sales of $405 billion, a figure that includes the retailer’s $100 billion international division and $46 billion Sam’s Club division. Rounding out the top 10 were Kroger at $76.7 billion followed by Costco, $69.8 billion, The Home Depot, $66 billion, Walgreen, $63.3 billion, CVS Caremark, $55.3 billion, Best Buy, $49.6 billion, Lowe’s, $47,2 billion and Sears Holdings, $44 billion.
