Target opens DC in western N.C.

Newton, N.C. Target Corp. said Tuesday it has opened a distribution center in western North Carolina.

A ribbon-cutting in Newton, N.C., on Tuesday marked the official opening of a facility that will employ about 400 workers.

The distribution center will serve Target stores in northern North Carolina and parts of Virginia.
