Target goes solar in Hawaii

3/26/2009

Irvine, Calif. DRI Energy, provider of turnkey solar-installation services to commercial building owners and residential homebuilders, announced the completion of solar installations on Target’s first two stores in Hawaii. Both the Honolulu West and Kapolei stores were outfitted with 143kW DC systems, fully integrated with their single-ply roof systems.

A third installation at the Target store on the Big Island is scheduled to be complete in early April.

DRI Energy is also a wholly owned subsidiary of DRI Cos., which has been a preferred roofing contractor for Target stores for the last 15 years. DRI installed the roofing systems at the Hawaiian Target locations.
