Tansky extends contract with Neiman Marcus

NEW YORK Burton Tansky has signed on for two more years as chief executive of Neiman Marcus Group.

According to reports, Tansky, who turns 70 in February has hinted at retirement, will now head the company until October 2010.

Tansky's base salary is listed as $1.3 million in a SEC filing.
