Talmage named coo of sunglass retailer

PADOVA, Italy Rick Talmage has been named coo of Solstice Marketing Concepts, a retail subsidiary of global eyewear manufacturer Safilo Group.

According to the company, Talmage will oversee the day-to-day operations and growth of the New York City-based company's two luxury sunwear specialty chains: Solstice Sunglass Boutique and Sunsights by Solstice, as well as the company's Solstice Sunglass Outlet stores. 

Talmage was most recently serving as vp of retail development and global e-commerce for Tumi, a position he has held since 2003. He has also worked in various roles for Giorgio Armani Fashion, Hugo Boss Fashion and Adidas Solomon AG.
