Talbots names J. Jill stores head

HINGHAM, Mass. Talbots announced that it has named Sue Walsh senior vp of stores for the J. Jill brand. In this role, Walsh will be responsible for the sales and operations of J. Jill’s more than 280 stores, and will report directly to J. Jill president Paula Bennett.

Walsh spent nearly 13 years at Williams-Sonoma Inc., where she served in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as vp of stores for Pottery Barn. Prior to Williams-Sonoma, she served as district manager of Contempo Casuals and department manager of Bradlees.
