Sweetbay promotes Vail to president and coo

TAMPA, Fla. Sweetbay Supermarket has promoted Michael Vail to president and coo, replacing Shelley Broader, formerly president and ceo, who left the company earlier this month.

Vail's career has spanned more than 20 years at Sweetbay and Hannaford. During his years at Hannaford, he held several positions such as retail management trainee, store manager, district manager, category manager and, eventually, director of deli merchandising.
