Waban, Mass. – Supermarket chain H-E-B is the most trusted chain in the most trusted niche of retail. H-E-B took the top spot in the 2015 Temkin Trust Ratings, which measured the trust of 10,000 U.S. consumers across 293 companies in 20 industries.
Fellow supermarket chain Publix ranked sixth. With average 2015 Temkin Trust Ratings of 67%, supermarket chains earned the highest level of trust. Retail in general earned a “good” consumer trust rating. Fast-food chain Chick-Fil-A earned a trust rating more than 15 points above its industry average.
However, RadioShack and BiLo both had customer trust scores more than 15 points below their industry averages.
