Survey says Target guests satisfied

AUniversity of Michigan survey of consumers again rated Target among the best when it comes to satisfaction. Customer satisfaction with the retail sector, including department and discount stores, specialty retail stores, supermarkets, gas stations, and health and personal care stores, gained 1.3% to reach an American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) score of 76.2. Nordstrom maintained its lead among department and discount stores, rising 4% to an all-time high of 83.  Several other retailers posted large gains, including Target, up 4% to 80, Dollar General, up 5% to 79, and Dillard’s up 4% to 78. Macy’s went in the other direction, as its score fell 4%, where, along with Walmart, it shares the distinction of having the industry low score of 71.
