Supervalu exec gets a NEW award

CHICAGO — Sue Klug, president of the Southern Californiadivision of Supervalu, has been awarded the Bobbie O'Hare Award foroutstanding service to the Network of Executive Women.

"Sue played an instrumental part in the founding, management andengagement of the Network's Southern California region," noted formerNEW Regional Chair Bobbie O'Hare, VP sales developmentfor JOH, who helped establish the Network's regional groups. "She is aservant leader, an individual that leads a large retail business butalso gets in the trenches to get work done."



O'Hare presented the awardat the NEW Leadership Summit last month in Orlando.

The Northern California leadership team was also honored as theNetwork's "Best of the Best" regional committee for 2011. NEW NorthernCalifornia is led by Co-Chairs Lori Procter of Procter & Gamble andErica Swanson of Slalom Consulting. They were supported by outgoingTreasurer Audrey Goins Brichi of Chevron and Secretary Michelle Tonnerof Daymon Worldwide.
