Supervalu to Buy Eight Albertson’s Stores

Eden Prairie, Minn. Supervalu Inc., announced Tuesday that it plans to acquire eight stores in Wyoming from Albertsons LLC. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Supervalu will operate the stores in Casper, Cheyenne, Cody, Gillette, Laramie and Sheridan under the Albertson’s name. Supervalu already operates two Wyoming Albertson’s stores, in Rock Springs and Jackson.
