Supervalu 3PL unit names new president

HOLLAND, Mich. Total Logistic Control, Supervalu's independent 3PL unit, has named Pete Westermann as its new president. Westermann has served as TLC’s coo since 2006. He replaces Bob Koerner, the company’s long-serving president.

Said Janel Haugarth, evp, and president and coo of Supervalu's supply chain services organization, “We are pleased that Pete Westermann has agreed to take the reins at TLC. With Pete’s experience and vision, TLC will be poised for success.”

Prior to his role at TLC, Westermann was president and ceo of Universal Solutions, a leading third-party logistics provider. He also held leadership positions at UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Livingston Healthcare, Cardinal Health and McKesson Drug Company.
