Sunlawn names new sales reps

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. Sunlawn, a manufacturer of top of the line reel push and electric push lawn mowers, has added two new national sales representatives. Beth Lowry and Carl Melchior will be joining the Sunlawn team with years of sales experience and landscape knowledge to strengthen the company’s already successful business team.

As co-owner of The Lowry Group, based in Harper Woods, Mich., Lowry began her sales career in 1991, entering into her family business as a clerical assistant. She progressed quickly and achieved salesperson status. She successfully negotiated multiple long-term contracts and helped increase sales at General Motors from $40 Million to over $100 Million.

Melchior started in the landscape business as a teenager mowing lawns in the suburbs. While pursuing his undergraduate degree in business at Wane State University, he landed a management position with a large commercial contractor in Metro Detroit. He managed diversified landscape crews and sold multi-million dollar turf contracts including athletic fields, golf courses and prestigious estates.
