Summit scheduled for Manhattan
New York City The Global Department Store Summit 2010 will be held June 10-11 at the TimesCenter Stage auditorium in Manhattan.
With a theme of “Winning in the New Retail Environment,” this year’s event will focus on four crucial areas: products, people, technology and the store as a stage. The scheduled speakers include: Terry Lundgren, chairman, president and CEO, Macy’s; Stuart Rose, executive chairman, Marks & Spencer; Vittorio Radice, CEO, La Rinascente; Bonnie Brooks, CEO, The Bay; and Roger Farah, president and COO, Polo Ralph Lauren Corp.
The conference is a leading industry platform for CEOs of department stores from around the world, department store suppliers and vendors, as well as major stakeholders from finance, retail services and real estate. It is held every other year.
