Sub-site helps 7-Eleven expand franchises
Dallas To boost interest in its franchising opportunities, 7-Eleven launched a new Web site on Monday devoted to everything an entrepreneur needs to learn about 7-Eleven franchises.
The new site, www.franchise.7-Eleven.com, gives insight into company history, corporate initiatives, franchise application process reviews, investment costs and royalties, available store locations and company support. It also provides such networking features as a calendar of upcoming franchising seminars and open houses, local and national contact information and franchisee testimonials.
7-Eleven franchising executives and a team from New York City-based direct-marketing agency RAPP created the site. It is hosted by RAPP and will be updated daily.
"Our goal was to ensure everyone knows that 7-Eleven is proactively franchising stores," said Joanne Webb-Joyce, senior director of national franchising for 7-Eleven. "The Web site isn’t replacing the personal advice and support we give each franchisee as they’re going through the process and after they join our franchise family. Instead, the site offers a convenient way for them to get to know us.”
Approximately 4,371 of 7-Eleven’s 5,639 stores are franchise-operated.
