Strong Sales Boost Abercrombie & Fitch

New Albany, Ohio, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. reported net income of $71.6 million for the third quarter ended Oct. 29, an increase of 79% from $39.9 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2004. Net sales for the 13 weeks increased 35% to $704.9 million from $520.7 million. The main driver of growth was the total company comparable store sales increase of 25%.
