The 25,000-sq.ft. facility will be home to Optika’s bonding, resizing, lighting and advanced testing operations, along with a new outdoor digital signage research and testing area.

To support the new facility, the company plans to hire up to 30 additional employees by the end of 2014.

“Stratacache is pleased to celebrate the opening of Optika’s new facility,” said Stratacache CEO Chris Riegel. “The growth of Optika throughout the past several months has been nothing short of remarkable and we are confident that this expansion will further accelerate the pace of business and allow us to add new products.”

Along with expanding Stratacache’s specialty display service offerings for its digital merchandising, digital signage and digital interactive solutions worldwide, Optika serves the needs of specialty display markets in QSR, military, transportation, retail, gaming, financial services and digital out-of-home advertising.

“Finding a facility that met our strict requirements and provided us with the resources to manufacture our current optical bonding products along with develop new solutions was only the first step,” said Optika CEO Jason Meyer. “With everything now in place, we’re excited to surge forward and focus on expanding our customer base and solution offerings globally from our new Ohio facility.”
