Stoppelenburg named ceo of Gant

NACKA STRAND, Sweden Dirk-Jan Stoppelenburg has been appointed ceo of Gant, the company announced Dec. 19.

Stoppelenburg most recently served as managing director of Tetra Pak Benelux. According to Gant, Dirk-Jan Stoppelenburg will assume his new position not later than July 1, 2008. Gant's cfo Henrik Fredin will function as acting ceo during the period until the position is filled by Gant's new ceo.
