Stop & Shop/Giant Food name new pharmacy vps

QUINCY, Mass. Stop & Shop/Giant Food announced that Jim Wonderly has been named vp of pharmacy and that Joel Berman has been named vp of pharmacy operations.

In his new role, Wonderly will oversee the pharmacy business for Stop & Shop and Giant Food. Wonderly first joined the company in 1992 when Ahold acquired Tops, where he was working as the director of general merchandise/health and beauty care.

In his new position, Berman will be responsible for pharmacy operations at both Stop & Shop and Giant Food and he will report to Jim Wonderly. Berman has been with Stop & Shop for 18 years, starting as a pharmacist in the chain?s Weymouth, Mass. Store and has subsequently held positions as regional pharmacy manager and senior director of pharmacy operations.
