Staples Tests Green Delivery Trucks

Framingham, Mass. Staples is testing two hybrid delivery trucks, according to Wired.com. The retailer worked with Isuzu to develop the diesel-electric trucks, which are being tested in Los Angeles and Boston.

The trucks feature nickel-metal hydride batteries, weight-saving measures and a button that turns on the 85-horsepower electric engine mounted behind the transmission.
