Staples Settles Corporate Express Offer

Framingham, Mass. Staples Inc. on Wednesday said its offer for all outstanding securities of Corporate Express NV has completed.

The Framingham, Mass.-based company earlier this month completed a separate offer for all outstanding shares of the Dutch office supply company Corporate Express NV and its 2% convertible bonds. Shareholders and bondholders had until last week to tender their shares and bonds under a post-approval period that ended last week.
