Staples to offer free PC tune-ups through April
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. Staples announced that it will offer free PC tune-ups, a $29.99 value, at all 1,500 U.S. stores through April 4, in response to surging demand from customers to improve the performance of their aging PCs.
“With today’s economy, many customers are looking to extend the life of their current PCs to postpone the purchase of new machines,” said Bob MacDonald, VP technology services at Staples. “Unlike some competing offers, the Staples tune-up does more than just diagnose problems. We’re making it easy for customers to get new PC performance from an old computer.”
Customers will receive a full Tune-up report that includes a comprehensive system analysis, a detailed list of services performed, and suggestions for further improving performance.
