Staples helps customers donate to Haitian relief

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. Staples announced that it is now accepting $1 donations at its Staples stores and Copy and Print Centers to help with the Haiti earthquake relief efforts.

The donations will benefit the International Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund.

 

“Like many people around the globe, Staples customers want to contribute to relief efforts in response to last week’s tragedy,” said Demos Parneros, Staples’ president of U.S. stores. “As part of our commitment to helping the people of Haiti, we’re enabling customers to donate to an organization that is providing much-needed support to all those affected by this catastrophe.”

 

In-store donations will be collected through Feb. 20. Staples, Inc. has also made a donation of $100,000 to the International Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund.
