Staples founder named to Kraft board

NORTHFIELD, Ill. Myra Hart, a founding member of Staples, has been appointed to the board of directors of Kraft Foods the company announced.

In addition to being a founding member of Staples, Hart has served as vp of growth and development for the chain, leading its operations, strategic planning and growth implementation. Before joining Staples, she was director of marketing for the New England-based grocery retailer Star Market, now a subsidiary of SuperValu. She is currently a member of the senior faculty at Harvard Business School.
