Staples Expands in South America

Framingham, Mass. The Brazilian Retail News reported Monday that Staples will open four stores in Brazil in 2009. Three of the stores will be located in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janiero. The location of the fourth store was not disclosed.

The office-supply market in Brazil has grown 20% annually in recent years, according to the news report.
