Staples Appoints New HR, Marketing Execs

Framingham, Mass. Staples said Tuesday that Shira Goodman will become executive VP, human resources, effective May 1. She will succeed Susan Hoyt, who will be retiring in September.

Goodman, who was previously Staples’ executive VP, marketing, will be responsible for the company’s global HR strategies and programs. She will report to Ron Sargent, the company’s chairman and CEO.
