Stage Stores enhances POS platform
Parsippany, N.J. Stage Stores has implemented Cornell-Mayo Associates’ Omnistore point-of-sale platform to lengthen the life of its existing hardware and provide remote-management capabilities.
The newest version of Omnistore features a browser-based back office that eliminates the need for client software installation. It also features a modern, lightweight service-oriented architecture that works on both new and old hardware. Advanced features include touchscreens, inter-store item location and sales, and numerous views of store and chain information, including hyperlinks for easy navigation.
In addition to replacing its store system software, Stage Stores has implemented the CMACentral host management and reporting suite, providing a role-based dashboard of important information to central office personnel. The dashboard provides real-time visibility into key details such as watch and audit panes, sales panes, and the ability to monitor key system metrics including credit status, trickled information, and file downloads.
“We have been extremely pleased with what we’ve been able to accomplish with Cornell-Mayo,” said Steven Hunter, CIO, Stage Stores. “Their team delivered an excellent rollout and support plan, and CMA’s solutions provided the functionality we needed without having to rip and replace our existing hardware installation.”
