Sprouts Farmers Market comes to Houston area

Houston — Sprouts Farmers Market, an independent natural foods grocery store chain, opened its first Houston-area store today.



The 25,300-sq.-ft. store opened at the southwest corner of Cinco Ranch Boulevard and Peek Road in Katy, Texas. The store will sell farm-fresh produce and thousands of natural, organic and mainstream food items at an affordable price point.



Ed Page and Chris Pitts of UCR Houston represented the landlord, AVB Development Partners of Scottsdale, AZ and tenant, Sprouts, in the leasing of the space. Ed Page is Sprouts’ southeast Texas representative for all site acquisitions.



Sprouts operates over 150 stores throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah and Texas, with locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin areas, El Paso, Lubbock, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Murphy and McAllen.
