Sports Authority Taps New President

Englewood, Colo., The Sports Authority promoted David Campisi to president of the company. Campisi, who joined the chain in November 2004 as president of merchandising, will continue to oversee merchandising, planning allocation and replenishment efforts, but will now also assume responsibility for the advertising and marketing departments. He will report to CEO and chairman Doug Morton.
