Sports Authority selects Allurent to enhance e-commerce

Cambridge, Mass. Allurent announced that The Sports Authority has selected Allurent on Demand to add interactive shopping experiences to the chain’s core e-commerce website and other related brand sites.

Allurent on Demand is a hosted, software-as-a-service offering that increases customer satisfaction and site conversion by quickly and cost-effectively deploying interactive merchandising widgets to retailers' existing websites including social media sites like Facebook.

"We know that our website is critical for both online and offline sales, and that the experience our customers have on our site directly impacts our success," said Clay Cowan, VP e-commerce at Sports Authority, which has more than 450 stores.  "With Allurent on Demand, we will be able to dramatically improve our online shopping experience and we will have the flexibility and control we need stay in synch with our high-paced merchandising cycles on all of our sites."
