The Sports Authority names new marketing head

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. The Sports Authority has appointed Jeffrey Schumacher to oversee all marketing, advertising, private brand strategy, digital/e-commerce, corporate and business development strategy.

Schumacher, who currently serves as a partner in McKinsey & Company's North American marketing and sales practice, brings more than 15 years of industry experience in marketing, advertising, sales and brand/retail strategy.
