Speed Commerce taps former Oracle exec as VP of global sales and marketing

Speed Commerce, a leading provider of omnichannel e-commerce services, has appointed former Oracle executive Mark Steele as the company's VP of global sales and marketing.



Steele boasts more than two decades of sales experience with a proven track record of success in firms ranging from Global Fortune 100 to early and mid-stage venture backed startups.



Steele previously served as regional VP at Oracle Corporation where he successfully led the mid-market oracle commerce sales team in North America. Steele joined Oracle through the acquisition of Art Technology Group (ATG) where he spent five years prior in various sales and sales management roles working globally with leading organizations to deliver software and service solutions critical in the execution of their e-commerce strategy.

In addition to Steele’s appointment, Speed Commerce is also opening a Canadian office in Toronto. "Canada is a high growth market for online retail, extending our physical presence into Canada will allow us to better serve existing customers looking to sell into Canada as well as provide a foundation to drive further growth in that region," said Zisk.
