Sonos hires former Sony exec
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. Sonos, a leading developer of wireless multi-room music systems for the digital home, has named Phil Abram as president and coo. In the newly created position, Abram will oversee the company's growing digital music system business.
Abram joins Sonos from Sony Electronics, where he spent more than eleven years in a variety of strategic management roles. Most recently, he served as vp and senior general manager in the television products division at Sony. Before joining Sony, Abram held executive positions at Sharp Electronics and Eastman Kodak.
