Software company hires home-builder purchasing exec
Hyphen Solutions has appointed Ken Pinto, a former supply chain executive for Toll Bros. and other national home builders, as its VP supply chain.
Pinto brings 21 years of supply chain management expertise to Hyphen's real estate and software management team. He most recently served as the director of supply chain at Toll Bros. and has held similar positions at Standard Pacific and Pulte Homes. Pinto also heads the Supply Chain Benchmark Group, which is a coalition of the purchasing leaders of some of the largest home builders in the United States.
"[Pinto] brings a vast amount of home-builder knowledge related to integrated supply chain processes to our company. In his new role, he will be able to focus on driving industry-leading change that benefits both builders and their supply chain partners," said David Deniger, chairman of the board at Hyphen.
Hyphen’s president Felix Vasquez said: "[Pinto] will initially focus his efforts on our eBuilderHub.com division, where we expect to provide increased product visibility to manufacturers and distributors, while delivering cost-reducing software and process efficiencies to local and regional home builders."
Based in Dallas, Hyphen Solutions provides 17,000 users with supply chain management, collaborationand scheduling solutions for North America's home builders and their suppliers. According to the company’s announcement, 10 of the top 15 home builders and 99 of the top LBM suppliers already utilize Hyphen's software.
