Smalling named to Sleep Association board

FRIANT, Calif. The Specialty Sleep Association has named Scott Smalling, president of Simmons’ specialty sleep division, to its board of directors.

Smalling is in charge of Simmons' ComforPedic and Natural Care product lines. He launched ComforPedic in 2003 as a division of IR Specialty Foams, his family’s company, and spearheaded the development of ComforPedic’s NxG trademarked memory foam. Simmons acquired ComforPedic in 2007.
