Six:02, Stamford, Conn.
Fashion and fitness come together at Six:02, a new retail format from Foot Locker. Designed for young, active women, the store offers on-trend athletic apparel, footwear and accessories in a stylish, inviting environment.
The store has a loft-like residential feel, with nesting tables, furniture-inspired fixtures and hardwood floors that reflect the customer’s sense of style while making her feel right at home.
While the merchandise selection is fitness-oriented, many of the items can also work for casual wear. To amplify the crossover story, mannequins are “in action” and grouped together throughout the store to show how layered looks make it easy to go from the gym to the juice bar. Trendier styles are shown with more athletic items to create looks that are both fashionable and fitness-inspired.
The fitting room area includes a common space with comfortable seating. A large-scale leaning mirror, transom windows and exposed wire light fixture reinforces the loft-like feel of the store.
