SiliconeZone ceo named to IHA board

ROSEMONT, Ill. Michael Karyo, ceo of SiliconeZone USA, has been elected to the board of directors of the International Housewares Association.

Karyo’s term begins immediately and ends Sept. 30, 2010.

Karyo launched SiliconeZone, a leading manufacturer of silicone cookware, bakeware, kitchen tools and utensils, in 2001. Prior to that, he worked for Catamount Glass from 1990-2001, serving as vp for the manufacturer of heat-proof glass cookware and glass kitchen tools and utensils. Karyo also is a member of IHA’s Government Affairs Committee.
