Shuttering Starbucks

Seattle Starbucks announced Monday the first round of stores that will close by the end of July. Early this month, Starbucks announced that approximately 600 company-operated stores would close by the middle of 2009.

Fifty stores in 19 states were included on the list slated for July closings. States with the most closings were California, where eight Starbucks will shutter, and Minnesota, where seven stores will close.
