The Shops at Valley Square, Warrington, Pa.

Boston-based The Wilder Cos. has taken on a new leasing and management assignment – the open-air specialty shopping center The Shops at Valley Square, in Warrington, Pa.



Located in Bucks County, Pa., just north of Philadelphia, The Shops at Valley Square is part of a 140-acre mixed-use development that includes office, retail and residential.



The 300,000-sq.-ft. center is a pedestrian-friendly Main Street experience with on-street parking, distinctive architecture and abundant landscaping. It features specialty shops and fine dining options including P.F. Chang’s, Banana Republic, Loft, White House | Black Market, Jos. A. Bank, Panera Bread, Chipotle, and more. In addition, the property includes over 100,000 sq. ft. of professional office space. The Shops are located directly adjacent to a regional shopping center featuring Wegmans, Staples, Sports Authority, Michaels, and Bed Bath & Beyond.



“The combination of destination stores and restaurants in a walkable Main Street setting gives area office workers, shoppers and diners plenty of reason to make multiple monthly trips,” said Tom Wilder, a principal at The Wilder Cos. “The synergy between The Shops and the adjacent Wegmans-anchored center creates even more reasons to shop. This critical mass of shopping and dining choices is unduplicated in the trade area.”



Wilder also took on the leasing and management contract for Somerset Square, a grocery-anchored center in Glastonbury, Conn.
