ShopRite launches family-based loyalty program

4/29/2009

Elizabeth, N.J. ShopRite, a division of Wakefern Food Corp., has created a loyalty program that is targeting rewards to families.

Shoppers can enroll in the ShopRite Family program on www.shoprite.com, where they are asked for their Price Plus loyalty-card number, as well as their username and password.

As shoppers purchase items, both in-store and online, featuring the ShopRite Family logo, they earn points. Every dollar spent on these highlighted items earns shoppers one point that can be used at a dedicated e-store for rewards including gift cards, music downloads and cell phone ring tones, according to an article by Supermarket News.

Members can also visit the ShopRite Family Web site to review articles, nutritional information and promotions, according to the grocer.
