As online gift registries become more popular with shoppers, Shopko is giving its gift registry service an omnichannel makeover.
Shopko has joined forces with MyRegistry.com to offer Shopko customers access to MyRegistry.com’s software platform and services. The partnership enables Shopko shoppers to create and manage personal gift registries using the myregistry.com platform and technology, including an in-store mobile scanning app.
“The MyRegistry.com platform enables Shopko’s customers the ease and convenience of a modern digital registry everywhere—in stores, on smartphones, tablets or desktops,” said MyRegistry.com President Nancy Lee. “Leading retailers access our platform because we offer a turnkey universal gift registry solution that saves them time and money to implement. The gift registry industry has moved towards aggregation, and retailers need sophisticated tools. MyRegistry.com solves both of those issues and simultaneously increases sales for participating partners.”
Shopko customers will be able to register for any gift giving occasion, such as weddings and baby showers, or create personalized wish lists for all other life events. MyRegistry.com in-store gift registry services will also be available at all Shopko and Shopko Hometown locations. “We are excited to launch the MyRegistry.com technology in all of our stores as well as on Shopko.com,” said Shopko SVP and Chief Customer Officer Michael Cooper.

Shopko is a $3 billion retailer that operates 319 stores in 21 states.
