Sleek and ultra-modern with industrial accents, the store marks the debut of the athletic giant’s stadium retail concept, a format inspired by high school stadiums. It features high-school reminiscent bleacher stands for live-game viewing on big screens, locker room-style dressing rooms, and track and turf sections where customers can try out products. Among the services offered are fitness consultations from trainers, a juice bar and personalized shopping experiences such as a running gait analysis tool and on-site jersey customization. Shoppers can also customize their footwear via a kiosk. … Frontgate, the upscale home furnishings online and catalog retailer, is set to open a 22,000-sq.-ft. store at Legacy West, a new luxury retail development in Plano, Texas. Designed by Cincinnati-based FRCH Design Worldwide, the store promises to bring the brand to life, allowing shoppers to interact with products in a setting that makes them feel at home. It will include a 2,500-sq.-ft. patio where customers can relax with snacks and wine, shop Frontgate’s outdoor products and talk with an on-site designer. … Lululemon Athletica has opened its second largest location in the world with its European flagship on Regent Street in London. Designed by Dalziel + Pow, London, the two-level, 6,344-sq.-ft. store combines the latest in technology with locally inspired design and community experiences. Among the features: a concierge desk that provides personalized services and an interactive fitting room that allows shoppers to see the reflective technical elements of Lululemon’s products. Once inside the room, laser beams highlight the reflective elements in the surrounding mirrors. The store also includes a dedicated community space with an area for complimentary yoga classes and a café.
