ShoeWoo launches e-commerce site, uses Demandware e-commerce platform
New York City Jones Apparel Group said Monday that its boutique shoe store ShoeWoo will introduce an e-commerce site later this month.
ShoeWoo.com will feature women's shoes and accessories from such Jones’ brands as Nine West, Boutique 9, Rachel Rachel Roy, Joan & David, Enzo Angiolini, Anne Klein, Bandolino and Circa Joan & David.
"We were able to use the Jones Apparel Group e-com platform to create the same experience for shoeWoo.com that we have in our stores," said Ron Offir, president of e-commerce for Jones Apparel Group. “ShoeWoo leverages the Demandware eCommmerce Platform and offers an e-com opportunity for many of our brands not previously served online."
The new shoe shopping Web site is interactive and visually stimulating with whimsical details and vibrant colors, according to the company. Unique functions include an "As Seen In" section, which will feature editorial coverage of shoes and accessories, as well as the "World of Woo" feature, which includes a "Welcome to Woo" video, a gallery of photos from the spring photo shoot, a guestbook to sign and the "Shoe Closet Makeover" sweepstakes taking place at launch.
ShoeWoo has seven brick-and-mortar locations.
