Sherwin-Williams Q3 profit flat, misses Street
Cleveland Sherwin-Williams Co. reported Tuesday that it posted flat earnings for the quarter ended Sept. 30. The paint manufacturer and retailer cited an 8.8% increase in revenue offset higher raw materials costs.
Sherwin-Williams reported net income of $175.3 million, compared with net income of $175.2 million in the year-ago period. Revenue rose to $2.17 billion from $2 billion in the prior year. The earnings missed Wall Street expectations.
