Sheetz Debuts Convenient Prototype

Altoona, Pa., Convenience could take on a whole new standard, as convenience store operator Sheetz unveils a 6,000-sq.-ft. prototype in Danville, Pa., described by the company as its “vision for the future.” The new unit will open this Wednesday.

Digital menu boards and electronic touch-screen order kiosks are high-tech new options. Food orders can be placed at the gas pumps via touch-screen terminals, and a professional barista will staff the espresso bar inside.
