Shaw's Rewards Shoppers for Recycling

Philadelphia, Shaw's Supermarkets is partnering with Philadelphia-based RecycleBank to provide a rewards program that rewards its shoppers for recycling. Through the partnership, Shaw's customers can earn RecycleBank Points determined by how much they recycle and use it toward purchases in the store.

According to RecycleBank, Shaw's was one of the first retailers in New England to sign on as a reward partner.

"Shaw's is a leader in the supermarket industry when it comes to innovative environmental programs for energy conservation, recycling and other green efforts," said Larry Wahlstrom, president of Shaw's. "By partnering with RecycleBank, we are taking it one step further by rewarding our customers for recycling and helping preserve the environment."
