Sen to become BJ's ceo in Feb. '09

NATICK, Mass. BJ's Wholesale Club has named Laura Sen as ceo, effective Feb.1, 2009. Sen has served as BJ’s president and coo, as well as member of the board of directors, since January. She will retain the title of president and continue to serve on the board of directors.

The company also announced that Herb Zarkin, who preceded Sen as ceo, will continue as chairman of the board of directors and will stand for reelection to the board when his term expires in May 2010.
